Key takeaways
- Real Sharklio support answers in the Chat with us window of your dashboard and by email from the sharklio.com domain, not from a stranger who messages you first.
- No genuine Sharklio contact asks for your password, a 6-digit code, a seed phrase, your app keys, remote access to your computer, or a payment to fix or release a payout.
- If a message feels off, stop replying, report it with Discord's or Telegram's Report option, and check with us in Chat with us; if you already shared something, change your password and log out everywhere.
Is this Sharklio support message real?
Probably not, if it arrived as a direct message you did not ask for. Real Sharklio support answers in the Chat with us window inside your dashboard on sharklio.com and by email from the sharklio.com domain. A Discord or Telegram DM, a social media reply, or an email from any other domain that asks for your password, a 6-digit code, a seed phrase, your app keys, remote access or a payment is a scam, whatever name and logo it shows. When in doubt, stop replying, open sharklio.com yourself and ask in Chat with us.
This guide covers chats, DMs and social media. For fake emails, see How to spot a Sharklio phishing email.
Where real Sharklio support lives
These are all the support and community channels that the Sharklio site, dashboard and emails link to (checked on November 2, 2026):
| Channel | Where you find it | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Chat with us | Under Need help? in the dashboard sidebar, the round chat button in the bottom-right corner, or More on a phone | Questions about your apps, offers, payouts or account. Sharklio Support replies in the chat and by email. |
| Contact form | sharklio.com/contact | When you cannot log in. Pick A publisher and a topic such as Account and login. |
| support@sharklio.com on the contact page, partners@sharklio.com under Need help? | Account, app, integration and payout questions | |
| Missing a reward? | sharklio.com/missing-reward, or Report on an offer in My offers | Users of sites with the Sharklio offerwall |
| Discord community | The Discord icon in the sharklio.com footer, the contact page, and Discord community in the dashboard sidebar | A community server where, as the contact page puts it, you chat with the team and other members |
| Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn | The icons in the sharklio.com footer and at the bottom of Sharklio emails | Public profiles, not listed as a support channel on the contact page |
Sharklio lists no Telegram channel, group, bot or support account on its site or in its emails, and has no support phone line. For the social profiles, open them from the footer icons and compare the handle letter by letter with the account that wrote to you. Support replies by email come from noreply@sharklio.com, with support@sharklio.com as the reply address.
When the team may message you on Discord, Telegram or Teams
The publisher application asks How can our team reach you? and lets you pick Telegram, Discord or Microsoft Teams, plus your username or invite link. That handle is how the team can reach you about your application; the decision itself arrives by email and as a dashboard notification. So a real message in one of those apps comes to the exact handle you entered, and never asks for anything in the “never” column below. If you are not sure who is writing, check in Chat with us before you answer.
How fake Sharklio support works
Impersonators go where publishers talk: public Discord servers, Telegram groups and replies to posts that mention Sharklio. Discord’s Blocking & Privacy Settings page notes that by default anyone in a shared server can send you a direct message. Display names and avatars are free to set, so “Sharklio Support” next to our logo proves nothing.
The FTC’s page on business impersonator scams describes the pattern: a message that looks like it comes from a business you know, then a demand for payment by gift card, cryptocurrency or wire transfer, “which no honest business will do”, or for access to your computer. Aimed at Sharklio publishers, it usually looks like one of these:
- The stuck payout. “Your payout failed, and I can fix it.” The fix is always a code, a wallet “verification” or a login link.
- The code request. With only your email address, anyone can make Sharklio email you a password reset code, and whoever types that code chooses your new password. “Read me the code we just sent” is the attacker asking you to finish the job. Why account changes need a code explains what each code protects.
- The fee. A “verification fee”, “release fee” or tax to unlock earnings, or a fee to speed up your publisher application.
- The remote fix. “Install this remote access app so I can fix your integration.”
- The key grab. “Paste your postback secret key so I can debug your missing rewards.” With that key, anyone can forge postbacks your server accepts.
- The seed phrase. “Prove you own your payout wallet” by typing its recovery phrase into a form or a bot.
- The fake login. A copy of the Sharklio login page, or an invite to a “Sharklio support” server where a bot asks you to “verify”. Discord’s page on scam and phishing bots says to disregard any bot DM that offers you something or asks you to click a link.
Illustrative example: a fake support DM
“Hi, Sharklio Support here. Your payout is on hold because your wallet is not verified. I just sent a 6-digit code to your email. Send it to me in the next 10 minutes or the payout is cancelled.” Red flags: a DM out of the blue, a deadline, a threat to your earnings, and a request for a code, which the real code email tells you not to share with anyone if you did not ask for it.
What real Sharklio does, and never does
| Real Sharklio does | Real Sharklio never does |
|---|---|
| Emails you a 6-digit code to type on the Sharklio page you opened yourself | Asks you to read out, forward or screenshot a code |
| Asks for your password only on sharklio.com/login, and stores it as a one-way hash | Asks for your password in a chat, a DM, an email or on a call |
| Takes a payout address in the Payout method card on your Account page, confirmed with an email code | Asks for a seed phrase, a private key, or a test transfer to “verify” a wallet |
| Is free to join, and under its Terms offsets a negative balance against your future earnings | Asks you to send money, crypto or gift cards to release, unlock or fix a payout, or to speed up a review |
| Keeps your app keys in your dashboard, masked until you click Show | Asks you to paste your postback secret key, link hash salt or API key into a chat |
| Works in writing, through the dashboard chat and email, with every setting in your own dashboard | Needs remote access to your computer or a shared screen |
| Reviews publisher applications by hand and tells you the decision by email and a dashboard notification | Sells or promises approval in a DM |
A short rule covers most of it. Support may ask for your username, your account email or an App ID, none of which lets anyone into your account. Support never asks for anything that would let someone act as you.
How to check a link someone sends you
Sharklio uses one domain, sharklio.com, with three subdomains: docs.sharklio.com, wall.sharklio.com and api.sharklio.com. You only ever type your Sharklio password at sharklio.com/login. Before you tap a link in a chat:
- Read the real address, not the text. Discord’s formatting guide shows how anyone can write a masked link: any text in brackets, any URL in parentheses. So a blue “sharklio.com/payouts” can lead anywhere.
- Read the domain from right to left, ending at the first single slash. sharklio.com.payout-check.net belongs to payout-check.net. sharklio-support.com and sharkl1o.com are not Sharklio either (all three are made-up examples).
- Distrust short links, QR codes and files. They hide where they lead or what they run.
- Join Discord only from our links. Sharklio publishes one Discord invite, behind the footer icon, the contact page card and the dashboard sidebar link. An invite in a DM to a “Sharklio support” server is not it.
One habit beats every trick: type sharklio.com yourself or use a bookmark. The phishing guide covers more lookalike tricks, and Log in with Google or Discord shows where the real sign-in buttons are.
How to report a fake Sharklio account
On Discord
- Report the message. Discord’s guide to reporting content or behavior says to hold down on the message on mobile or right-click it on desktop, select Report Message, and pick the type of violation.
- Report the profile. Open the user’s three-dot menu and select Report User Profile.
- Tell the server’s moderators if you met the scammer in a server, as the same guide suggests, then block or ignore the user.
- Close the door. To stop DMs from server members, Discord’s privacy page says to open User Settings (the cogwheel), select Content & Social, and turn off Direct messages.
On Telegram
The Telegram FAQ says every app has a Report button: on Android, tap the message and select Report; on iOS, press and hold it; on Telegram Desktop, Web or macOS, right-click it and select Report, then choose a reason. You can also email abuse@telegram.org with t.me links or @usernames of the account. If a scammer is pretending to be you, the FAQ says to contact @NoToScam.
Tell Sharklio too
Send screenshots, the scammer’s username and the date through Chat with us, or the contact form if you are logged out, but never your password or a code. On Facebook, Instagram, X or LinkedIn, use the platform’s report option for impersonation. In the US, you can also report the scam at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Discord and Telegram menu names were checked on November 2, 2026 and can change.
What to do if you already shared something
Move fast, and work from a sharklio.com page you opened yourself, never from the scammer’s link.
| What you shared | Do this now |
|---|---|
| A 6-digit code | Assume it was used. Change your password, or use Forgot password? if you are locked out. Click Log out everywhere and Revoke all, then check your payout method and email. |
| Your password | Change it, turn on Login verification, and change it anywhere else you used it. |
| An API key, link hash salt or postback secret key | Replace it in your dashboard and on your server, as How to rotate your keys and link salt shows. |
| A seed phrase or private key | Move any funds to a new wallet, then save its address as your payout method. |
| Remote access | The FTC’s What To Do if You Were Scammed says to update your security software, run a scan, delete anything it flags, change your passwords and turn on two-factor authentication. |
| Money or crypto | The same FTC page says to contact the exchange or ATM operator at once, report the transaction as fraud, ask them to reverse it, and report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. |
| A Discord login through their link | Discord’s page on hacked or compromised accounts says to reset your password, turn on multi-factor authentication, and remove unknown apps under User Settings, Authorized Apps. |
Then tell us in Chat with us what you shared and when. What to do if your Sharklio account was hacked has the full recovery checklist.
Also watch for a second wave: offers to “recover” what you lost. The FTC’s page on refund and recovery scams is blunt: if someone contacts you and asks for an upfront fee, that is a scammer.
If you run a community with the Sharklio wall
Impersonators also target your members, posing as you or as Sharklio and offering to “fix” a missing reward for a fee or a login. Pin a message that names your staff and says they never ask for passwords, codes or money. Say where reward questions go: your site or app pays your users’ rewards, so balance questions come to your own support, and a missing offer can be reported free with Report in My offers or at sharklio.com/missing-reward. If someone copies your own Telegram identity, use @NoToScam.
Handling missing reward tickets covers the real tickets, and Monetize a Discord server covers running the wall in a Discord community.
Ask us before you answer
Sharklio is a pay-per-result affiliate network, and your account holds your earnings and the address they are paid to. If a message claims to come from us and you are not sure, ask in Chat with us or get in touch before you reply, click or type anything. Five minutes on securing your account makes a stolen password far less useful.
Frequently asked questions
Does Sharklio have a Telegram support account?
No Telegram channel, group, bot or support account is listed on sharklio.com or in Sharklio emails. The team only has a Telegram handle for you if you gave one, for example under How can our team reach you? in your publisher application.
Is the Sharklio Discord server official?
Join only the community server linked from the sharklio.com footer, the contact page or the dashboard sidebar. Anyone in a shared server can DM you, so a DM from a member is not support.
Will Sharklio support ever message me first?
The team can reach you on the app and handle you gave in your publisher application, and otherwise writes in your dashboard chat and by email. A real team member never asks for your password, a code, a seed phrase, your app keys or a payment.
Someone asked for my 6-digit code. What should I do?
Do not send it. If you already did, change your password, click Log out everywhere and Revoke all, check your payout method and email, and tell us in Chat with us.
Can Sharklio support fix my payout if I pay a fee?
No. Sharklio never asks you to send money, crypto or gift cards to release or fix a payout, so any such request is a scam.
How do I report a fake Sharklio account on Discord?
Right-click or hold down on the message and select Report Message, or use Report User Profile from the user’s three-dot menu. Then send us screenshots in Chat with us.
