Key takeaways
- Go to Apps, click New app, fill in General and Currency, and click Submit for review.
- Pick how you will show the offers carefully: Offerwall, Floating button, Direct link, or Offers API cannot be changed once the app is live.
- After approval you get a notification and an email, and the app opens on its Integration tab with your link, code, and keys.
How do I create my first publisher app?
On the publisher side of your dashboard, open Apps in the sidebar and click New app. Fill in the General and Currency sections, then click Submit for review. Our team checks the app, and once it is approved you get your offerwall link, code, and keys.
Publisher applications open soon. This guide shows the exact steps for when they do.
Before you start
Each website, game, or app where you show offers is its own app in your dashboard, with its own statistics, keys, and postback settings. You can have up to 20 apps. Read Get your publisher account approved first, so your property meets the rules we check.
Step by step
- At the top of the sidebar, click Publisher to switch to the publisher side of your account.
- In the sidebar under Publish, click Apps. The Apps page lists every website or app where you show offers.
- Click New app at the top right. If you have no apps yet, the same button is also in the middle of the page. The Add a new app page opens.
- Under General, fill in App name. Use 3 to 80 characters. It is how the app shows up in your dashboard and in the browser tab of your offerwall.
- Under How you will show the offers, pick one card:
- Offerwall: a ready-made wall you embed on your site with one iframe.
- Floating button: a corner button opens it in a pop-up.
- Direct link: open it from a menu, your app, or an email.
- Offers API: load the offers as data and show them in your own design.
- Fill in General description with 30 to 2,000 characters about your traffic: audience, platforms, and main countries. For example: a rewards site for gamers, 70% mobile, mostly Android, users from the United States, Germany, and Brazil.
- Fill in Website or app URL, the full address starting with https://. Only pages on this domain can embed your offerwall, so use the site where it will really live.
- Under Currency, set Currency name (for example Coins, Points, or Gems), Conversion rate (how many units equal $1 of your earnings, before the split), Split to user (%), and Reward rounding: Whole numbers (for points or coins) or Up to 3 decimals (for dollar balances).
- Check the How your users are rewarded box next to the fields. It shows what your user gets for every $1 you earn and for example payouts, and you can type in your own payout to try it.
- Click Submit for review. A message confirms: “App submitted for review. We will notify you once it is approved. Your offerwall link and design options appear then.”
Tip: set the bonus later
The Bonus box is shown on the new app form, but a bonus is set in the app’s Currency tab once the app is approved. For help with the rate itself, read How to set your virtual currency exchange rate.
On a phone
The sidebar is hidden on small screens. The switch between Advertiser and Publisher sits at the top of your Dashboard, and Apps is in the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. The form is the same, with the fields in one column.
What happens next
- The app appears on the Apps page with the status In review. Its Manage button is grayed out until approval: “You can manage this app once it is approved”.
- When our team approves it, you get an App approved notification and an email. The status changes to Live, and Manage opens the app on its Integration tab with your App ID, offerwall link or code, and keys.
- A live app has six tabs: General, Currency, Offers, Postback, Design, and Integration. Next, add your postback URL, follow the four steps in the Quick start, and test your app before launch.
- If the app is not approved, the status shows Rejected and the reason appears under the app name after Not approved:. We also send it by email.
Once an app is live, the way you show the offers and the website URL are fixed. To show offers another way as well, add a second app, which gets its own statistics, keys, and postback settings.
