Key takeaways
- Pause and Resume sit on each campaign card in Campaigns and at the top of the campaign page.
- Changes in 1. Basics send a live campaign back to review, except the internal title. Targeting, bids, budget, caps and rules apply right away.
- A campaign paused because your balance ran out stays paused until you top up and click Resume.
Where are the Pause, Edit and Resume buttons?
Click Campaigns in the sidebar. Each campaign card has Pause (when it is Active) or Resume (when it is Paused), plus Edit and Clone. The same buttons are at the top of the campaign page when you click its title. Pausing hides the campaign from users at once, and nothing in your settings is lost. Edits to the Basics section send a live campaign back to review, while everything else applies right away.
Step by step
Pause a campaign
- Open Campaigns. Use the status chips, such as Active, or Search by title or campaign ID to find it.
- Click Pause on the card. You see Campaign paused. Users cannot see it until you resume it.
Completions that users already sent still need your review. Their approval window keeps running while the campaign is paused. Users who opened the task but had not sent proof yet cannot submit it until you resume.
Resume a campaign
- Find the campaign under the Paused chip.
- Click Resume. You see Campaign resumed.
A newly approved campaign also starts as Paused, so you can check it before anything is spent. You start it with the same Resume button.
Edit a campaign
- Click Edit on the card or on the campaign page. The Edit campaign page opens.
- Each section is marked. 1. Basics shows Changes need review. 2. Targeting & bids and 3. Budget & rules show Applies right away.
- Make your changes and click Save changes.
Quick edits without the editor
On the Campaigns list, open Details and stats on a card. Under Stats and controls, click Edit next to:
- Campaign budget, then Save budget. Set it to 0 for no limit.
- Bid or Average bid, then change each country or use Add 10% or Take off 10%, and click Save bids. Pending completions keep the price they were sent at.
- Spend and completion caps, then Save caps. Set any cap to 0 for no limit.
Which edits go back to review
For a campaign that is Active, Paused or Completed, changes to targeting, bids, caps, budget, the frequency cap, the approval window, and notes apply right away. Editing the title, category, instructions, link settings, starting link, proof type, proof requirement, or thumbnail sends the campaign back to our team for review. The internal title is the exception: only you see it, so it never needs review.
After a Basics change you see Changes saved. You changed the Basics section, so the campaign is back in review before it runs again. The status becomes In review, and you get a notification when the review is done. If the reviewer asks for changes, Why was my campaign rejected? explains how to fix and resubmit it.
Tip: test a new task with Clone
If you want to try new instructions without stopping a campaign that works, click Clone. It copies the campaign as a new draft that you can change and submit, while the original keeps running.
After a low-balance pause
If your balance cannot cover the next completion, the campaign is paused automatically. The card shows Paused: your balance ran out. and you get a Campaign paused: low balance notification.
- Click Top up your balance in the message, or open Balance. Top-ups are made with crypto, from $10. How to top up your balance shows each step.
- Once the top-up is credited, go back to Campaigns and click Resume.
The campaign does not restart by itself. If your available balance still cannot cover the lowest bid, you see Your balance is too low to run this campaign. An active campaign can also show Low balance. when it gets no new completions until your available balance covers one. What happens when your balance runs out explains both messages.
Deleting a campaign
Delete appears only for campaigns with the status Draft or Changes needed. A window asks Delete this campaign? This cannot be undone. Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel. An Active, Paused or Completed campaign cannot be deleted, so pause it instead. If results are still waiting for a decision or open to dispute, decide them first.
On your phone
Tap Campaigns in the bottom bar. The buttons sit at the top of each campaign card, the same as on a computer. Tap the campaign title to open its page, where Edit and Pause or Resume are at the top.
If something goes wrong
- You see Paused by our team instead of Resume. Our team paused the campaign, and you cannot resume it yourself. Email us.
- The status is Completed. The campaign reached its total budget. Raise the budget or set it to 0, and it runs again without a new review. Campaign budgets and caps explained shows how the budget is counted.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change bids without a new review?
Yes. Bids, countries, targeting, caps, budget and the approval window apply right away. New completions use the new bid.
Does pausing stop the approval window?
No. Completions already sent are approved automatically when their window ends, so keep reviewing them while the campaign is paused.
Can I delete an active campaign?
No. Only drafts and campaigns that need changes can be deleted. Pause a live campaign instead.
Does a campaign restart after I top up?
No. Top up, then click Resume on the campaign.
What if I edit a campaign that is In review?
Saving it as a draft takes it out of the review queue until you submit it again.
