How are Sharklio and Shark Earnings related?

Sharklio and Shark Earnings are two different products run by the same company, Shark Earnings LLP. Shark Earnings is a rewards site, also called a GPT site, where users complete offers and surveys and get paid. Sharklio is a pay-per-result ad network with its own offerwall, where advertisers run task and offer campaigns and publishers show the wall to their own users.

So the relationship is one company, two sides of the same market. This page sets out the facts you can check, what each product is for, and what the connection does and does not mean for you.

One company behind both

Every Sharklio policy page ends with a section called “Who you are contracting with”. It states that Sharklio is operated by the company below, that the same legal entity operates Shark Earnings, and that a single set of company records applies to both.

The same company name appears throughout Sharklio’s legal documents. Shark Earnings LLP is the party named in the limitation of liability and indemnification sections of our Terms of Service, the data controller in our Privacy Policy, and the issuer on receipts for advertiser top-ups. Sharklio and Shark Earnings were both founded by Krisztián Stark, who is the named contact person for the company. The site footer sums it up in one line: Sharklio is part of the Shark Earnings network.

Put simply, Shark Earnings sits on the user side of the offerwall, and Sharklio sits between advertisers and the publishers who show offers. Shark Earnings shows how several offerwall partners can sit side by side on one offers page, which is the setup How to start a rewards website describes from the owner’s point of view.

Why the connection shaped Sharklio

Running a rewards site is the reason Sharklio was built the way it is. We have seen the offerwall from the user’s side, and we know what users expect from a fair task: clear instructions, a clear finish line, and a reward that arrives when the work is done. Several parts of Sharklio follow from that:

  • Campaign review before launch. Every campaign is reviewed by staff before it goes live, so unclear or harmful tasks do not reach users. How Sharklio reviews campaigns and apps walks through the process.
  • Fair rejections. Advertisers may reject a task completion only if it clearly fails the requirements their campaign stated, every rejection needs a reason, and users can dispute it.
  • Automatic approval. A completion the advertiser does not decide within its approval window is approved automatically, so users are not left waiting.
  • Publisher responsibility for rewards. The publisher credits and pays its own users under its own terms, exactly as a rewards site does.

The two sites also point readers to each other where it is relevant. Several Sharklio Academy guides link to Shark Earnings guides that explain the same topic from the user’s side, such as how rewards are held or why an offer did not track.

What it means for advertisers

When you sign up as an advertiser, your contract is with Shark Earnings LLP, a registered company whose details you can check in the British Columbia registry. Your top-up receipts carry the same company details, which helps if you need them for your own accounting.

What the connection does not change is how your campaign is handled. The advertiser terms apply to you as written: your campaign is reviewed before it goes live, you pay only for completions you approve, completions approved automatically when your window ends, and offer steps your server reports, and top-ups are final. Where your campaign appears depends on the approved publishers whose users are eligible for it, and the Terms make no promise of any level of results.

What it means for publishers

If you run a rewards site, a game or a community, the company behind Sharklio runs a rewards site too, so the publisher side was designed by people who handle the same problems you do: crediting rewards on postbacks, taking them back on reversals, and keeping abusers away from the wall.

The rules for publishers are the ones in section 7 of the Terms. Every application is reviewed, each property is registered and reviewed on its own, and the placement and traffic quality rules apply to every approved property. Publisher applications open soon.

What the connection does not mean

  • Separate accounts. Sharklio business accounts are created on sharklio.com, with an email address or a Google or Discord account. A Shark Earnings member account is not a Sharklio account.
  • Separate documents. Sharklio has its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and those are the documents that govern your use of Sharklio.
  • Separate support. For anything about a Sharklio account, campaign or app, write to [email protected].
  • No published numbers. We do not publish traffic or user figures for either site, and nothing on this page is a promise of reach.
