Key takeaways

  • Send only genuine, human traffic from your approved properties.
  • Proxies, bots, purchased installs, and completing offers yourself are never allowed.
  • Reversed results are deducted from your earnings, even after they were reported.

Genuine traffic only

Advertisers pay for real people completing real actions, and your earnings depend on that. Every completion on your wall must come from a genuine person using your property, on their own device, from their real location.

What is never allowed

Prohibited traffic

Any of these can lead to reversed earnings and a suspended integration.

  • Proxy and bot traffic, including traffic that disguises its real location.
  • Incentivised clicking outside the offerwall, such as paying people to click tracking links.
  • Purchased installs, and misleading promotion of the wall or its offers.
  • Completing offers on your own properties to generate revenue.
  • Creating several properties to reuse the same traffic.

How we check

We run automated and manual checks that consider device and browser characteristics, network and location signals, activity history, completion patterns, and information from our anti-fraud and offer partners. Advertisers also review their own completions and can reject results that do not meet their requirements.

What happens when something is wrong

  • Reversals. If an advertiser or offer partner rejects or reverses a result, the amount is deducted from your balance or offset against your next settlement, even after it was reported to you.
  • Holds. Where there is a material risk of fraud, we may hold or reverse earnings and block devices or users from offers.
  • Suspension. We may suspend an integration immediately if it presents a security, legal, or fraud risk, and we tell you why.

Amounts that come from fraudulent or prohibited activity are not payable. If you think a decision was wrong, write to [email protected]. Decisions that close an account or withhold a settlement are reviewed by a person. For how reversals affect a settlement, read Publisher earnings, settlement, and reversals.

Protect your wall

  1. Reward users only for offers they really completed, and remove rewards when a result is reversed.
  2. Watch for sudden spikes from a single country, device, or referrer.
  3. Limit sign-ups per person and per device on your own property.
  4. Promote the wall honestly, without promising rewards the offers do not give.
